Strategic conflict management can be broadly divided into four phases with specific techniques and functions falling into each phase.

  • Issues Management
  • Risk Communication
  • Crisis Communication
  • Reputation Management

Chapter 11 – Reaching a Multicultural and Diverse Audience

There are many different groups that have to be reached

  • diverse age groups
  • racial and ethnic groups
  • other emerging audiences
  • global audiences

After reaching all these groups, you then have to match the audience with the media. Americans spend about 3,500 hours a year consuming various media.
